Training

The SPM4.0 Doctoral Training Programme will provide solid multidisciplinary scientific and technological training to students of the network. They will acquire a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary scientific training in advanced scanning probe microscopy and machine learning and in their biological and medical applications, concretely on:

Scanning Probe Microscopy (from basics to advanced functional imaging in Life Sciences and Medicine)
Machine Learning (from basics to advanced deep learning implementations)
Robotics (from automated to autonomous devices)
Biophysics (from basics to medical applications)
Microscopy in Life Sciences and Medicine (form optical and electron microscopies to medical imaging)
Current implementations of AI in SPM and their applications in Life Sciences and Medicine
Metrology and standardization in SPMList item
