DC8: Marc Rodríguez Salazar (DATRIX SPA)

Marc Rodríguez Salazar earned his degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and holds a master’s degree in High Energy Physics from the same university. He has applied machine learning to a range of scientific challenges, including particle discrimination in neutrino experiments, early detection of Alzheimer’s disease from magnetic resonance images, and analysis of complex datasets in physics and biomedical research. Currently, Marc is pursuing a PhD within the SPM 4.0 research project, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence for digital cancer diagnostics based on Scanning Probe Microscopy. His work aims to develop machine learning algorithms for anomaly detection and analysis of multiparametric SPM data—topographic, mechanical, and electrical—advancing cancer diagnosis at the nanoscale.
