Bruno Boato obtained his degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional de San Luis, Argentina, where he conducted his thesis on reinforcement learning strategies for intelligent microgrids. During his studies, he gained research experience at CERN, developing deep learning models to distinguish cosmic rays from antimatter annihilations, and at BruBotics (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), working on safe reinforcement learning for aerial robots. Bruno is currently pursuing his PhD at Sorbonne Université, within the Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique (ISIR), focusing on artificial intelligence, robotics, and control for autonomous SPM operation within the SPM4.0 project.
